Burdens are the representative and supplier of the Clearmake product range throughout Western Australia.
Clearmake is an Australian owned business that locally designs and manufactures quality equipment to help business, industry and government save water and protect the environment.
Clearmake equipment ranges from standard products such as GPT’s and oil/water separators through to custom engineered solutions that may incorporate rain water harvesting, storm water management, spill control, water treatment, water recycling and sludge dewatering.
Products and systems comply with Local Council, EPA, AQIS and OH&S regulations, and meet Australian Standards for manufacturing.
All design and manufacturing is centralised in SE Queensland for greater quality control and pre-install testing. This strong focus on design innovation and quality has seen Clearmake selected for The Australian Technology Showcase, a State and Federal Government initiative to promote Australian Innovation globally.
Special Treatment Systems
Clearmake engineers have the capability and experience to design application-specifi c systems for the specialised treatment of industrial process water.
Our focus is on ease of installation, automation and low maintenance, plus we use industry-proven equipment and components to provide class-leading reliability. Our Special Treatment systems are all custom designed, manufactured and tested at our South East Queensland facility.
Applications can vary from acid/ caustic neutralising to the removal of heavy metals, dissolved solids and the treatment of water contaminated with PCBs.
Client Applications: Clearmake Special Treatment Systems can be designed for almost all industrial applications where water harvesting, treatment and/or recycling are required.
Specific examples include ink removal, construction product manufacturing, marinas, heavy equipment and AQIS washdown.

Stormwater Management and Spill Control Systems
Clearmake’s standard stormwater diversion system is actuated hydraulically from a demand valve in the washdown water line. However if differing site conditions require, the valve can be constructed with electric or pneumatic actuation with PLC control capability to accommodate site specific requirements.
First Flush, Spill Detection and Spill Control variants are also available.
Industry Applications: Any application where an unroofed washdown bay requires diversion of stormwater from washdown water or where detection, protection or control of spills is necessary.
Client Applications: All unroofed washdown pads; fuel or chemical storage areas or service stations; transformer storage areas; mining, and heavy equipment workshops, as well as run-off from hardstand areas in industrial and commercial facilities.
